What I’ve learned in my Visual Studio WPF course

  • WPF has way too many features you can’t find in IntelliSense to make full use of
  • You can get a lot of reading done when using public transport for 3.5 hours a day
  • Drinking a cup of coffee every hour can put you in an altered state and make you hear your heart beat in your ears
  • Middle-aged professionals can be just as inattentive and prone to cell phone/internet distraction as college students, especially when it’s their companies paying $67/hour for the course
  • Eating an orange while drinking coffee produces an absurd amount of intestinal gas
  • … Not much I didn’t know already
