On All Things Considered on the way home, I listened to a story about how the new flavored-cigarette ban that goes into effect at midnight is affecting convenience stores and cigar bars in Manhattan. One man said “They’re killing us.” Only he wasn’t talking about cigarettes, he was talking about the new laws that are trying to curb youth smoking by banning smokes that taste like candy.
